EK2 Iron Cross / Eisernes Kreuz L. Christian Lauer marked mark PKZ Number 14, with very nice patina

Lauer crosses are not easy to find even in unmarked crosses, as they are very popular and sought after, but marked copies are even harder to find, which is why many collections lack these hard-to-obtain pieces.
The manufacturer’s PKZ number was 14.
These crosses can now be safely called rarities, as they rarely change hands among collectors.
Lauer pieces are generally in average condition, it is very difficult to find a nice one.
This cross is also a good example of this, due to its worn condition, but it does not lose any of its value because it is a nicely worn piece with an attractive patina.
The marking is complete and very sharp, a very nice and atmospheric collector’s item.
