EK2 Iron Cross / Eisernes Kreuz C.E. Juncker 2.9 with W&L core with hand paint variation

EK2 C.E. Juncker with Rudolf Wächtler & Lange core .
This piece differs from the usual pieces in that, as can be seen in the picture, the embossed pattern was painted with a so-called “rhodium” paint which provided a very beautiful and imposing appearance for the cross, not to mention the preservation of its condition.
The patina on the frame is in almost unbelievable colors.
What we know is that Juncker and W&L had a close collaboration in the production of the crosses.
This piece is a magnetic inner iron core variant and typical 3 flawed frame, but the inner core is not from Juncker, but contains a type 3 core variant made by W&L.
These types are not common types, although all of the examples I have found so far have been unmarked, I hope to find a marked version someday, as there is a 100% W&L type with a marked back and a marked ring, as I have found the marked ring version before.
This piece is still in very nice condition and sharp pattern and with very nice patina and flawless hand rhodium painting, which indicates typical W&L production, this is a very nice collector’s piece!
